SONG FOR EUROPE![]()
Got To Get Me Tan by Loose Threads Band members Bob Shoroncle and Farr Kinnell first met when they were both working as webcam operators in a honeymoon suite in a city hotel. Their mutual love of Norwegian circular harp solos and the emerging ‘soul coughing' scene led them to form the embryonic "Loose Threads". Fronting the act in those days was a talented young Irish-Asian singer named Kerry Oki. Sadly, her stay in the band did not last long as she died attempting the first ever cordless bungie jump. In a fit of despair Bob left the act and spent several years trying to develop the first scratch and sniff adult website. It was during a Didjeribodhran playing festival that Bob and Farr met up again and, after consuming several bottles of liquid paradise, decided to reform the act.
