Tedfest 09 Treasure Hunt
As penance for a terrible (but very memorable) sin, I have been forced to "organise" the Treasure Hunt for Sunday moring (1st weekend - possibly both, but I won't be there for the 2nd).
I'm now drumming up support and also trying to estimate the numbers taking part (in order to plan the food, drinks, entertainment, dancers, prizes etc*)
It will start at 11am (ish) on Sunday from the hotel lobby. I appreciate that this may interfere with mass but that shouldn't matter to heathens, heretics, Muslims, Jews, existentialsis and (God forbid!) Protestants - of whom there may be several.
I recommend this is tackled in teams of 2 - 6. If you are married or in a stable relationship, I do not recommend you do it together. It's on foot (despite what the programme says) and will only take about 1 - 2 hours. Frustration, pain, anger and foul language are guaranteed: fun is not.
Let me know if you're likely to take part.

Got my tickets!!!
Been trying for tickets for the last few years and finally im going to Tefest!! Firs time goer so any advice on what I need to bring, best places on the island to stay, availability and food on the island etc. Anything at all is appreciated. Missing Horse
HI all
Bit of a serious request.
I run a costume shop in Dublin. Durin TedFest two "Lovely horses" were hired. One returned in full by two Lovely girls.
But unfortunately some person saw fit too go backstage at the Crag and root thru the band's possessions and STEAL the Head of the other Horse.
Its unfortunate that this indivdual saw fit to steal off other festival goers.
We have an idea who has taken the head, but can not be sure. I would really appreciate if any knows the person involved or if indeed you are this person please contact me on ;

There are extra ferries running from Inis Mor until sunday but no extra ones on Monday! So options are either 8.30am or 5pm. 5pm one means missing last train to Dublin..... 8.30am one - Come on!?
