THE CRAGGY ISLAND WORLD CUP

In accordance with the recent FIFA rulings we apologise, unreservedly, to the islands of Toraigh, Inis Bo Finne, Oilean an Bhraighe, Gabhla, Arainn Mhor, Inis Fraoigh, Inch, Inishmurray, Inis Ge, Inis Bigil, Achill, Clare, Inishturk, Inis Meain, Scattery, Beginish, Valentia, Na Scealga, Dursey, Bere, Cleire, Sherkin, Whiddy, Long, Heir, Garinish. Inis Mac Neasain and Rathlin for denying them entry to the inaugural Craggy Cup in 2007.

Each island is invited to enter a team into the 2008 event.

The Craggy Island World Cup will be held Saturday, 1 March 2008 on Inis Mor Harbour beach.

RULES

All players must be male or female.
A maximum of 5 players per team
Any former international footballer must be able to pronounce the name of the island they represent.

A Prize of 5,000 Euro will be presented to the winning team's Lifeboat Association of choice.
